I truly wish to the access to custom games and the Editor being overhauled on a future update. If you commit to use it you know that youвЂ™re going to be disappointed, and you will surely be stressed, because the overall performance is quite bad and losing progress to crashes and some other random inconveniences should always be expected. I feel that so many awesome stuff could be born on DE, but the Editor pulls back creators so much. Or why there isnвЂ™t a undo, or a custom asset library, or working custom sounds. But what I canвЂ™t understand is why some features such as replicating triggers from one player to another arenвЂ™t built in on DEвЂ™s Editor. This is understable after all, new game, new code. Now a bunch of 3rd party addons, such as Trigger Studio, are gone. I donвЂ™t have a answer for why so much few people play custom games on DE, but my bet is that the absence of the extensive library of legacy maps and the inconsistency to boot any UGC plays a big role on that. When you try to play a custom game you have to overcome so manny annoyances to enjoy the game, itвЂ™s wildly demotivating. The clunky way that UGC is downloaded at lobbies, with sluggish downloads and viciously repeating cicles. Now, almost 5 months after the game launched, very little has changed to good, and a lot has changed for the worse.Д¬ustom games are borderline unplayable on current patch:Д¬onstant crashes when loading a custom scenario. I am in desperate need of modellers and mappers, while skinners and scripters would also be desired. Finally some territories will be replaced, such as Redhorn Pass with Moria, and Gundabad and Carn Dum maps will be updated.Д¬urrently I am short on help, one of my best modders is taking a break and most of the others are still learning. There may also be some additional Arnor territories like Bree, or Old Forest. (port abilities will be decided by the port's status in the LotR Risk Game) New territories will hopefully be added like a Khand, Forochel, and Udun. Forochel to Mithlond, Mithlond to Minhiriath etc. War of the Ring is also going to have some new features, I can't promise anything, but I plan to make nearby ports adjacent to each other. Finally, the Woodsmen could be anything from a great light infantry unit, to a late-game hero with attributes alike to that of elves. Dunedain Rangers will be very good at stealth while Ithilien Rangers are very versatile.

There is also a new CaH class planned for Rangers, with subclasses for Dunedain Rangers, Ithilien Rangers, and Woodsmen.

When you have enough money you can ambush your foes with your dunedain rangers and assault the enemy base with your dunedain soldiers with dwarves and elves for support. Then you can send in archers and swordsmen of Arthedain with Cardolani pikemen and light cavalry for support. Their functions will be flexible, rather than focusing on infantry or stealth, they have a little bit of everything, but do not concentrate on anything.ДЇor example, right at the start you may want to scout out the map, or harass the enemy's economy with your hobbits and hillmen.

The mod plans to release add a new faction for Arnor that includes the Arnorian kingdoms and their allies. There is a public beta currently out with new CaH powers, heroes with switching commandsets, new Ring-heroes, and improvements on existing heroes and hero-hordes. This mod is a simple mod that plans to add a (semi)complete Arnor faction.
